CFFF Memorial Golf Tournament Sponsorship Information – Tournament date May 29th, 2017.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation I would like to invite you to participate as a sponsor or player in our 2017 golf tournament. The 2017 CFFF Classic will again be hosted by our friends at Comtech Fire Credit Union at the Royal Woodbine Golf Club in Toronto. Last year’s event in Ontario raised well over $15,000 in support of the Foundation and we are hoping to achieve even better results this year. In the four year history of the event, the tournament has raised over $61,000! The Foundation operates on the proceeds of fundraising, donations and events like our golf tournaments which are a big part of our yearly fundraising.

The Foundation cannot continue its mandate without the ongoing commitment of our great supporters and sponsors. The Foundation operates the annual national firefighters memorial ceremony in Ottawa on the second Sunday in September where we provide transportation and lodging for the families of fallen firefighters being honoured. The Foundation also provides scholarships and education bursaries to the children and spouses of fallen firefighters. With your help we will be expanding our support to the families of our fallen to include funeral and counseling assistance. I encourage you to participate in one of our tournaments and help us Remember, Honour, and Support our fallen and their families.

So please register early to make sure you reserve your place at this important event. We promise you a day of fun, great golf at a private golf club, and an opportunity to network with the other participants, sponsors and friends of the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

I hope to see you there in late May!

Robert Kirkpatrick

President
